Pathways to Sacred Remembering

Birthing Sacred Remembering

My relationship with the land and the unseen began long before I had language for it.

Some of my earliest memories are of journeying with dragons at night, travelling together to different places. As a child, I understood these experiences as dreams. Today, I understand them very differently.

My life and work later took me into remote Indigenous communities and nations, where relationships with Elders, traditional healers, land and ancestry continued to deepen my relationship with the unseen.

I then began studying Akashic Records, initially out of curiosity and for my own spiritual development. What followed was something I have come to understand as an awakening.

Reading Sherry Mosley’s Akashic Enlightenment helped me integrate some of what I was experiencing. For around three months, it felt as though I was psychically wide open, in almost constant communication and experiencing profound healing.

During this time, my own Akashic journeys were deeply visual and experiential. I encountered sacred geometry, Jesus and Christ Light, dragons, galactic beings and an entirely new spiritual team. It was truly beautiful.

My teacher and peers began telling me that the way I worked within the Records was quite niche and deeply shamanic and encouraged me to continue developing the work.

When I began journeying for others, I would see threads, cords and pathways, with animals and other beings appearing as helpers. The journeys involved ancestral and karmic release, energetic upgrades to the energy bodies, the planting of seeds and activations.

Around the time I was considering formalizing this work as a business, a client was deeply moved by her session. As she cried, she asked:

“What is this? What is it that you do?”

I told her it wasn’t me. I felt I was simply a conduit for what came through in the journey.

Then, intuitively, I placed my hand over my heart and said:

“This is about Sacred Remembering.”

My entire body was covered in goosebumps, and I knew at that moment that this was the name of my business.

We are living through a profound time of transformation, as humanity is expanding in awareness.

The path now is about remembering who you are – as a being of pure consciousness, expressed through human form—with the capacity to create, serve, and move through the world in alignment with your deepest truth.

This is the essence of Sacred Remembering.

Anchored in Light

There is an image that appears regularly towards the end of my Akashic journeys with clients.

Each journey is different, but I have witnessed this often enough that I have come to recognize its significance.

A column of light descends from Source. Sometimes it appears as a warm golden honey, sometimes as Christ Light or Diamond Light. Regardless of its color or quality, it moves through the person, through each chakra and deep into the core—the womb of Mother Earth.

With gentle breathwork, the energy begins to move both upwards, which I experience as the masculine, and downwards, which I experience as the feminine, through this central column.

Sometimes this is followed by rainbow light showering down from Source around the person, while the energy begins to move in what I experience as a toroidal field—flowing upwards, outwards, around and down.

At this point, the physical body is no longer visibly present to me. I experience the person entirely as energy.

It is incredibly beautiful to witness.

What strikes me most is that while the energy is expansive, it is also deeply grounding. The person is not being drawn away from their human experience in search of something higher. They are connected in all directions—an experience that, for me, speaks to the multidimensional nature of our being.

Divine balance and harmony.

Perhaps this, too, is part of Sacred Remembering.

Not escaping our humanity but remembering our deeper nature while remaining fully anchored here.

Connected to Source. Rooted in the Earth. Pure consciousness expressed through human form.

Soul Doula

Recently, someone described my work in a way I was initially uncomfortable with…

I stopped when I heard those words.

I had once entertained the idea of becoming a Death Doula, but I had never thought of myself as a Soul Doula. In fact, I had never even heard those two words put together.

Initially, I resisted the idea. I certainly didn’t see myself as someone who had the answers for another person’s soul.

But there was something about those words that resonated deeply.

A doula doesn’t create the life that is being born. She doesn’t determine what it will become. She holds space, witnesses, supports and remains present while something deeply personal unfolds.

And perhaps there is something of that in the work I do.

When I journey with someone through the Akashic realms, I don’t know beforehand where we will go or what will arise. I listen. I witness. I trust. I follow what is being revealed and hold a protected space for the experience to unfold.

Sometimes what emerges is healing. Sometimes remembering. Sometimes release. Sometimes something entirely unexpected.

But the journey belongs to the person, not to me.

Perhaps a Soul Doula is someone who stands quietly at the threshold while another person moves through an experience that allows them to remember something of themselves that has always been there.

And in that sense, perhaps these words do describe something of my work.

Holding space as another person sheds what is no longer theirs to carry and remembers more of who they truly are.

To witness another person move through their own healing and transformation, without directing the journey or determining what it should become.

Simply holding space for their own Sacred Remembering.

Integrating High-Frequency Energy

There have been times following a profound spiritual experience or journey into the Akashic realms when I have felt deeply connected—to Source, to the unseen, and to something far greater than my individual self.

In those moments, the energy can feel expansive, clear, and alive. There may be an overwhelming sense of love, heightened awareness or a remembering of truths beyond the limits of the thinking mind.

And then I return to ordinary life.

The dishes still need washing. Responsibilities are waiting. People make demands. Relationships continue to present their complexities. The physical world can suddenly feel dense, noisy, and strangely difficult to navigate.

Sometimes, instead of feeling peaceful and spiritually elevated, I have felt overwhelmed, exhausted, frustrated, or angry.

For some time, I struggled to understand this. If I had just experienced something so beautiful, why did I not remain in a state of love and harmony?

I am beginning to understand that receiving energy and embodying it are not the same thing.

The Body Needs Time

While consciousness may expand in an instant, the human body and nervous system often require much longer to absorb what has occurred.

The body is the place where the spiritual experience must eventually land.

When there is more energy or awareness than my system can comfortably hold, expansion can become overstimulation. Ordinary demands may feel overwhelming, and I may become unusually tired, emotional,or sensitive to the expectations of others.

At times, this overstimulation has appeared as anger.

I once believed that anger meant I had somehow lost the experience or “dropped” out of the energy I had touched. I now see that anger does not necessarily represent a spiritual failure or a lowering of frequency.

Sometimes anger is the body asking for rest.

Sometimes it is a boundary becoming impossible to ignore.

And sometimes an expansive experience creates enough internal space for emotions long buried to finally rise to the surface.

Anger Is Not the Opposite of Spirituality

There can be a subtle pressure within spiritual spaces to remain peaceful, loving and grateful—to demonstrate that our practices are “working” by appearing calm and elevated.

But genuine integration asks for honesty.

If I attempt to rise above anger without listening to it, I may be abandoning the very human part of myself that needs attention. Anger may be protecting exhaustion, grief, hurt or a need that has repeatedly gone unmet.

Rather than asking, How can I get rid of this anger? perhaps a more compassionate question is:

What is this anger protecting, and what does my body need in order to feel safe enough to soften?

Spiritual awakening does not remove our humanity. It invites us into a more intimate relationship with it.

The Descent Is Also Sacred

Integration is not about remaining in an elevated state. It is about allowing what we have experienced to gradually become embodied within ordinary life.

It can be tempting to seek another journey, healing or activation when we feel unsettled. Yet sometimes the most supportive response is not to reach for more energy, but to create space for what we have already received.

For me, this may mean resting, eating nourishing food, walking slowly through the desert, touching the earth or simply being quiet without needing to interpret what has happened.

I am learning that I do not have to understand every image, sensation, or experience immediately. Nor do I have to force the energy into form.

Some experiences reveal their meaning slowly. Something received in a moment may take days, weeks or even months to be woven into the way we live.

This descent from the expansive into the everyday is not separate from the spiritual experience. It is part of the experience.

The sacred is not found only in visions, journeys or extraordinary states of consciousness. It is also found in how we bring what we have encountered into our relationships, choices, boundaries and ways of caring for ourselves.

Becoming a Vessel for What We Receive

I have come to believe that integration is less about maintaining a particular energetic state and more about becoming capable of living what has been revealed.

Does the experience help me speak more truthfully?

Does it deepen my compassion without asking me to abandon myself?

Does it change how I move through the world?

Perhaps we are not meant to remain in the expansiveness of the unseen. We are invited to bring something of it back with us—to allow it to take root within our human lives.

High-frequency energy does not always feel light while it is being integrated. Sometimes it illuminates what is no longer aligned, disrupts old ways of being or invites us to confront what we have carried for far too long.

The process may feel uncomfortable, but discomfort does not necessarily mean that something has gone wrong.

We can allow ourselves space between profound experiences and honor the wisdom of the body rather than expecting it to keep pace with consciousness.

Integration may look far less radiant than the original experience. It may look like sleep, solitude, tears, changed boundaries or an honest conversation. It may look like becoming quieter, more discerning and more firmly rooted in ourselves.

And perhaps this is how the unseen becomes lived.

Not by escaping the human experience, but by inhabiting it more fully.

Not by rejecting anger, limitation or vulnerability, but by meeting them with awareness and compassion.

Not by trying to remain somewhere above the world, but by anchoring ourselves in the earth and allowing what we have remembered to enter the way we live within it.

This, too, is Sacred Remembering.

I am beginning to understand that receiving energy and embodying it are not the same thing.

The Body Needs Time

What I describe as high-frequency energy may be experienced as heightened sensitivity, insight, creativity, love or an intensified connection with the Divine. Yet while consciousness may expand in an instant, the human body and nervous system often require much longer to absorb what has occurred.

The body is the place where the spiritual experience must eventually land.

When there is more energy, awareness, or activation than my system can comfortably hold, expansion can become overstimulation. My senses may feel heightened. Ordinary demands can become overwhelming. I may feel tired, cold, emotional or unusually sensitive to the energy and expectations of others.

At times, this overstimulation has appeared as anger.

Sometimes anger is the body asking for rest.

Sometimes it is a boundary becoming impossible to ignore.

Sometimes it is the frustration of having touched something vast and beautiful, only to return to the limitations and responsibilities of everyday life.

And sometimes an expansive experience creates enough internal space for emotions that have long been buried to finally rise to the surface.

Anger Is Not the Opposite of Spirituality

There can be a subtle pressure within spiritual spaces to remain peaceful, loving and grateful—to demonstrate that our practices are “working” by appearing calm and elevated.

If I attempt to rise above anger without listening to it, I may be abandoning the very human part of myself that needs my attention. Anger may be protecting exhaustion, grief, hurt or a need that has repeatedly gone unmet. It may be showing me where I have given too much, remained silent or moved beyond my own limits.

The question is not always, How can I get rid of this anger?

A more compassionate question may be:

What is this anger protecting, and what does my body need in order to feel safe enough to soften?

Spiritual awakening does not remove our humanity. It invites us into a more intimate relationship with it.

I am learning that I do not have to understand every image, sensation or experience immediately. Nor do I have to force the energy into form.

Some experiences reveal their meaning slowly.

The insights may arrive in stages, as the body develops the capacity to hold them. Something received in a moment may take days, weeks or even months to be woven into the way we live.
